Hands on Therapy, Inc. is a young practice, actively growing to meet the needs of children with disabilities throughout Alaska. Hands on Therapy specializes in intensive therapy programs in the clinic with home-based follow-up care. Being able to work with children in their home environment allows the therapist to create routines that support therapy goals and sensory and/or motor development. The clinic, on the other hand, allows for more direct rehabilitation of the underlying components contributing to function.
As Alaskans, patients have unique goals that they want to achieve, from hiking and biking with the family, to hunting and fishing, cross country skiing and snow machining. At Hands on Therapy, we want to equip children to participate as fully as possible in family life.
